For high quality aesthetic purposes, many customers wish their labels to be spot varnished.  This is where a certain area of the label is varnished, leaving an area without varnish, the contrast drawing attention to a certain logo, section of text or image.

Up until now, digital labels could only be overall varnished. However thanks to the latest advances in digital technology, Labelservice can now offer inline matt or gloss spot varnishing on all of the digital labels we supply.  This is proving especially helpful where customers are subsequently printing their digital labels with Thermal Transfer printers, as some print ribbons can struggle to consistently print directly onto the varnish.
